Owned by two sisters, the InSpiral Studios workshop is located in Lake Norman, North Carolina. While we are not open to the public, we hope to see you at one of our Art Festivals. Our Story
After 25 years in the corporate world, it was time to start a new adventure! Inspired by vintage jewelry in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco style, I began to explore a number of techniques to create artisan handcrafted jewelry.
My sister Lisa has always been a very creative person. Suffering from PTSD and severe depression for most of her life, embroidery and sewing has always been her refuge and passion. Taught by our Grandmother when she was a child, she has a fantastic eye for color and design. Putting her creativity and design skills to work, my sister began to make incredible Beaded Jewelry.
Together we created InSpiral Studios. Each piece is uniquely inspired to create harmony between the stone and the design, accentuating the stone’s natural beauty and character.
In many designs, you will see a signature spiral motif. One of the oldest sacred symbols, the spiral reflects the universal pattern of creation, growth and expansion. Sometimes referred to as the ‘Geometric Blueprint of Life’, the Golden Spiral, Fibonacci Spiral, and other Logarithmic Spirals are seen throughout our natural world in plants, minerals, animals, energy patterns, weather, human DNA and the cosmos.
